Kingfishers Group

Kingfishers Children’s Bereavement Group is an opportunity for children between the ages of five and 16 years to share their feelings through play, storytelling and artwork.

When someone special in a child’s life has died, they may be left feeling sad, alone, angry, confused, different or just mixed up. Sometimes they feel that nobody understands what they are going through. That’s why we started Kingfishers – so if something doesn’t feel right, there will always be someone to talk to.

The group aims to meet four times a year. For more information on the Kingfishers Group, please call the main Hospice Switchboard on 01252 729400 or email mail@pth.org.uk.

We produce information leaflets on a range of topics to inform and support. This is our Kingfishers Children’s Bereavement Group leaflet, which you may like to print out. Our full range of leaflets can be found on the information leaflets page.
