Every year Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice puts on a number of major events attracting huge support from the local community. By helping financially or through gifts-in-kind, your company could gain valuable PR and enjoy the real and tangible benefits that such associations can bring. Depending on the degree of support offered, we can provide excellent branding and publicity for a sponsor in pre-event publicity, profile at the event itself, and post-event press reports and participant thank you letter communications, as well as mentions in all internet publicity via our own webiste, Twitter, Facebook and other appropriate social media outlets.

Events in 2010

7 May: Strictly Come Dancing event at Lakeside in Frimley featuring stars Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova, in front of an estimated sell-out crowd of 700 people.
22 May: Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice annual fete, for the first time the fete will be held in Gostrey Meadows, Farnham, attracting hundreds of visitors to stalls and amusements throughout the day. Sponsorship opportunities include sole sponsor of the day or individual marquee sponsors.
6 June: Walk for the Wards, a five or ten mile sponsored walk around Tilford that attracts 200+ walkers of all ages. Cream tea for every walker at the finish.
11 July: Summer Cycle, a sponsored bike ride around Godalming and Farnham - a new addition to the Hospice events calendar.
11 September: Steps Under The Stars, our annual women only midnight walk in memory of someone special. This event is likely to attract in the region of 1,000 walkers in 2010 to walk the Guildford to Farnham route.
13 November: Black tie charity ball, to be held at Macdonald Frimley Hall Hotel and Spa.
December: Light Up A Life annual mailing and event, encouraging donations and inviting supporters to our Christmas remembrance service.
5 and 12 December: Santa Fun Runs, two fancy dress fun runs, held in Aldershot and Guildford.
16 December: Music at Christmas, our annual Christmas service of music and seasonal readings, held in Farnham Parish Church and attracting over 200 people.
